In the last 4 years of owning an Aero 750 and now a VTX 1300 I had been taking the bike in to the dealer per the maintenance schedule. Have done a bunch of mods from all the great posts on the cafe, but left the maintenance work to the shop.

I think you will be fine with "mineral oil" vs. synthetic and others have said that the specific weight you have is okay (I know nothing about the weight issue). If you buy a quart and change with every oil change that's 7 - 8 changes if you don't spill any.
