The 17 round mags add a new dimension to the compact genre. It's a nice handgun, worth solid consideration but I'm getting rid of mine. I've got the original P365 and the XL.

It is a great choice. We have three 365's. One is chambered in 380, a 365 X Macro Comp and a 365 XL. My wife carries the 380 most of the time. The slides are swapped on the other two.
