Nov 6, 2023 · YJ Fuel Line - Rubber hose section. 89 YJ 4.2L. Leaking fuel line and not sure what size or how to get the clamps off to replace the line. There are 2 short hoses that are on the driver side engine, one goes from the metal fuel line to the filter and the other line goes to the mech fuel pump on the passenger side. There are 2 connections on the fuel tank sender unit. I'm guessing the larger line goes to the fuel pump and the small line is the return line. Where does the return line originate from in the engine compartment. I know there are 2 hard line along frame but not sure where to hook up the return in engine area. Sense it's a 95, if the stock pump in the tank is still functional then you just need a pressure reducer specific for carbs.
