Gx200 has 9 ft/lb torque, but only 5.5 hp. Predator has 8 ft/lb, but 6.5 hp. I would however not do it even if you have a tissue converter. The belt will wear through prematurely. The only real way to slow a kart down is through gearing. You will have to gear lower for a slower speed. You will have more torque though.
