How much HP can a stock rearend handle. My 327 is putting out about 350 HP. Running a Tremec 5 speed with 3.73 stock posi. In my younger days I would break axles not the rearend in my 63 Impala with same amount of HP but I had an automatic in the car. I know of the aftermarket posi units but does anyone make aftermarket axles for our trifives?
