The newer 750 has fuel injection which seems to add a little push over the older models. I've also owned a Sabre 1100. Hands down the better bike. If you can find a late model, 2005 or so jump on it It's almost as lite as the 750 and the MPG is almost as good. But, the difference in riding is large.I filled my 1992 Honda Shadow 1100 just recently and it showed 50.1 MPG. This with a smoother ride. The Sporty was fun on twisty roads. But make it a short ride. I can do a short twisty road ride on the Shadow or a three hour ride across the state. I will miss the looks of people when you pull up on a HD - but nothing else about it. I removed carbs and tank for cleaning. Noticed it has a non-stock needle, thus assume it was jetting ect for the pipe/filter.
